Proposed emissions regulations puts New Mexico's economy at risk

As a member of Jemez Mountains Electric Cooperative, Inc. we think it's important to inform you of two proposals being considered by the state Environmental Improvement Board (EIB) to institute a cap on greenhouse gas emissions in New Mexico.

These plans target New Mexico businesses only, putting our large and small business at risk.  Your voice as an electric cooperative member needs to be heard.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY TIP ....

Did you know replacing a single incandescent bulb with an energy-efficient compact fluorescent bulb, otherwise known as a CFL (one of those "squiggly bulbs") can save up to $50 over the bulb's lifetime.

Now THAT'S a bright idea!
