The SCAM is back in our area, AGAIN! Customers are receiving phone calls that they will be disconnected if they do not pay immediately by phone. The new phone number the scammer is using is 1-866-978-0291 or 1-877-400-0902. THIS IS A SCAM. We do not make outbound phone calls for collections. We do not solicit payments by calling our customers. Hang up right away. Please only use secure payment options. You may call our office at 1-888-755-2105, our automated phone line at 1-855-479-3686 (recently changed), pay online at , mail in payments or come into our office from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Please be careful and do not give out any credit card information over the phone unless you are calling our office. We do not accept Western Union payments. Please be careful!

Jemez Mountains Electric Cooperative, Inc.

Jemez Mountains Electric Cooperative was founded in 1947. The Co-op began as a small hydropower generating station in Jemez Springs serving three families. Today, JMEC is the largest electric co-op in the state serving consumers in the five counties of Rio Arriba, Santa Fe, San Juan, McKinley and Sandoval.
