JMEC 2025 Annual Meeting

La Luz, NM – August 17, 2025 — The Jemez Mountains Electric Cooperative, Inc. (JMEC) held its 77th Annual Meeting at the scenic La Luz Campgrounds, and this year’s gathering was a huge success!

A total of 367 members, along with their families and friends, came together to enjoy a beautiful day filled with delicious food, and great company.

The afternoon’s highlight was a spectacular live performance by New Mexico’s own Severo y Grupo Fuego, presented in partnership with the New Mexico Music Commission. Their high-energy show had attendees on their feet, dancing and celebrating the strong sense of community that defines JMEC.

JMEC extends its heartfelt thanks to event supporters and partners — Tri-State G&T, New Mexico Rural Electric Cooperatives, La Cocina Restaurant, and Dino’s Lovin Oven — for their continued support in making this event possible.

The cooperative also extends appreciation to Western United, Border States, and Techline for their generous prize donations, which helped make this year’s picnic even more memorable for everyone in attendance.
