A Warm Welcome to Our New Board Directors

Hernandez, NM – October 2025 — Jemez Mountains Electric Cooperative, Inc. (JMEC) is proud to announce the addition of four new members to its Board of Directors. Each brings valuable experience, perspective, and a strong commitment to serving the cooperative’s members across their respective districts.

Please join us in welcoming:

• Kenny Borrego (District 6)
• Marissa Maestas-Muller (District 6)
• Miguel Vigil Jr. (District 4)
• Julian Sanchez (District 2)

Mr. Borrego and Mr. Vigil Jr. were elected unopposed, reflecting the confidence and support of their communities. Mr. Sanchez was elected during the July 2025 election, joining the Board with enthusiasm to represent his district’s members.

Ms. Maestas-Muller transitions into her new role after successfully serving as an appointed Member at Large for District 6, where she demonstrated strong leadership and dedication to JMEC’s mission.

JMEC looks forward to the leadership, and dedication these new directors will bring as they join the Board in continuing to serve the membership and the cooperative.
